Duct Leakage and Air Infiltration Testing
Our home energy specialists are certified to perform duct leakage testing and air infiltration (blower door) testing; as required by the 2015, 2018, 2021, and 2024 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) for all new residential construction.
After passing a duct leakage and/or air infiltration test, RAM will provide a certificate for the home that verifies the test results for code compliance, ensuring your project can move forward smoothly.
Blower Door Test

We will verify that the amount of air entering and exiting a home meets the recommended standard levels, ensuring home comfort and enhanced indoor air quality.
If standards are not met, we will recommend adjustments so that homeowners can avoid potential future issues; such as excess moisture, difficulties controlling indoor air temperature, and unwanted or unsafe levels of air leakage.
